Fresh “Herbed” Pasta with Wild Mushroom and Lemon Cream Sauce topped with (optional) Egg Sunny Side Up 

(serves 4 with leftovers)

You will need:

2 lbs Fresh pasta (store bought is fine, but homemade is better. See recipe notes)

2-4 Ounce bag of wild mushrooms

2 Cups Heavy Cream

1 Celery Stalk rough chopped

1 Small Yellow Onion rough chopped

1 Carrot rough chopped

1 Gram of your favorite flower strain (optional)

6 medium to large eggs (2 extra for mistakes)

1-2 teaspoon (4×10 mg dose per 1 teaspoon., 4×20 mg dose per 2 teaspoon) Heavenly Sweet 1000mg Cannabutter

1 lemon

Bunch Fresh Tarragon

Bunch Fresh Thyme(Lemon Thyme if possible)

Bunch Fresh Flat Leaf Parsley

Bunches and Bunches Fresh Cannabis Leaves/Flowers(for garnish)

½ teaspoon white pepper

¼ teaspoon nutmeg

Kosher Salt to taste

Olive oil or use butter to fry eggs


To prepare:

Soak Dried Wild Mushrooms by covering them with Hot water for about an hour or longer.

Save a few pretty pieces of fresh herbs for garnish and fine chop half bunch of each and combine with a couple of pinches of kosher salt and finely chopped zest from half the lemon. When you zest the lemon, reserve half of it in long pieces for garnish as well, or micro planed is fine as well as garnish.

Set up double boiler to reduce cream. If you do not have a double boiler, a mixing bowl set on top of a pot of simmering water works or even a Crock pot on low and then warm. Add cream, celery, onion, carrot, 1 gram flower, half bunch tarragon, half bunch thyme, half bunch flat leaf parsley. Slowly reduce cream to 3/4 the original amount. This can take anywhere from 1-4 hours. The longer you reduce this cream over heat the smaller it will get but the optional gram of your favorite flower will take at least 4 hours to convert from THCa to THC. If you decide to go this route, add ½ to 1 extra cup of heavy cream to make up for liquid reduced. The longer you leave the cream over heat, more flavor will be infused by the herbs and aromatics as well.

After Mushrooms have re-hydrated and the cream is reduced:

strain cream,into sauce pan, add nutmeg and white pepper and set aside.

Strain liquid from dried mushrooms. Save 1 Tablespoon of soaking liquid and add to cream reduction. In saute pan, just melt Cannabutter over medium heat and add mushrooms, lightly saute until mushrooms are hot and coated with butter. Stir in finely chopped herb and zest mixture, turn off heat.

Cook pasta according to package instructions or instructions in recipe notes : )

Strain cooked pasta(do not rinse) and toss with reduced cream. Add Mushrooms and toss until there is a mushroom in each bite. Salt to taste.

Twirl or PILE onto 4 serving plates/bowls, fry 1 egg for each to top and garnish with reserved herbs and zest.
